 A NEW EXECUTIVE INAUGURATED FOR PEGASUS ALL STARS F.C. EKET

 

A new Executive has been sworn in to manage the affairs of Pegasus All Stars Football Club of Eket. The new Executive has as its Chairman, Kinsley Eyinna while Ekeng E. Anamdu is to serve as Vice Chairman.

The post of Secretary went to Mr. Okafor Obiora with Engr. Ini Asuquo Inyang serving as the Assistant Secretary. Other positions occupied were those of Provost, that went to Mr. Remi Amadi with the Welfare / Curator occupied by Mr. Godwin Akpatak.

Mr. Mimoh Musa, Mr. Orok Orok, Frederick Udoh, Pastor Uduak Eyibio and Mr. Emmanuel Mbong emerged Treasurer, Captain, Coach and Team Manager respectively.

Inaugurating the new committees, the Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Hashim Saidu charged them to be united in taking the club to greater height and appealed to the members to work together to achieve success. He lauded the members of the committee for emerging victorious after a free and fair election, describing their emergence as a positive development.

Earlier, the former Chairman, Engr. Ekere Afia lauded the members of the club for their unity, describing them as a family and praised the club for the success recorded during his tenure. He urged members of the club to extend their support to the new executive in order to enable the club excel.

Mr. Eyinna lauded the members for appointing him Chairman, noting that he was humbled by their decision. He stressed the need for love among the members, adding, with love the club can become the best in the country. He spoke of his determination to make the club international, pointing out the construction of a Clubhouse among some of the things he is planning for the club.

The Vice Chairman of the Club, Mr. Ekeng Anamdu who also spoke noted that discipline would remain the watchword of the new executive. He assured that everything would be done to ensure that all stars achieved success.

A former councilor in Eket Local Government Hon. Sam Ibok urged members of the new executive to lead by example. He admonished the members to also show commitment towards the growth of the club.

Among those that also attended the occasion were members of All Stars from Uyo, Port Harcourt and other parts of the country.
